A Season of Giving

On Friday, December 14, we donated food to the Tucson Community Food Bank. All of the food was canned and non-perishable. The canned food came from the different classes who donated it during Special Person’s Day.

Along with donating the canned food every year, all of the classes wrap a nice shoe box filled with things a girl or boy their age would like to find in a Christmas gift. One by one the classes bring their shoe boxes to a big truck that takes the food. As 5th graders, we get to bring all of the canned food to the truck along with our shoe boxes. We are so happy donating the canned food and the shoe box gifts to help our community!
