Turkey Trot

The Turkey Trot is a 1 mile fun run held at Castlehill Country Day School each year. The students earn no lap passes used in P.D. (physical development) for each lap. This event is held on Special Persons Day. Special Persons day is a day where every child gets to invite anyone. Usually people invite grandparents to be their special person. Their invited Special person can also earn no lap passes. Toddlers through 5th grade ran the Trot with great enthusiasm and laughter. Toddler through 2nd do smaller laps and 3rd through 5th do a full lap.

As a result, the Turkey Trot raised 15 boxes of food which were donated to the Salvation Army Hospitality House. It was a great success this year with plenty of participants and donated canned food.
