The books are about a young boy named Harry who finds himself in a world of magic. After he learns that he is a wizard, he leaves his muggle (non-magical people) home, he learns and battles against the most feared wizard villain in the magical world; Voldemort.
His two best friends, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger will help him in these seven amazing books to battle against the forces of "He Who Must Not Be Named".
There are eight movies from this series; the seventh book’s movie is separated into two films.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are other books that aren’t in the series, but still include some of the same characters.
