J. K. Rowling is a famous author of many books. As you may know, she wrote the world-wide famous Harry Potter series, which consists of seven books. She also wrote Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and the Cuckoo's Calling. Her actual name is Joanne Rowling, but she used the pen name J.K. Rowling when she wrote Harry Potter because she thought boys would not read a book written by a woman.
